A Beaver County woman has been charged after police said she parked a van on the side of the road in Rochester after allegedly running out of gas. According to court documents, police found a baby sleeping inside the van and another child playing on the roof of the van. The child told police that his mom, Valerie Fullum, ran to a nearby Sheetz to get gas. When Fullum returned to the van, she told police that she asked another woman to watch the kids while she went to get the gas. Court documents also said that the woman said she could not watch them and that Fullum started walking to the Sheetz. Fullum has been charged with child endangerment. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 covered a case earlier this year where Fullum was accused of taking a 12-year-old to get a birth control implant against her mother’s wishes. Charges were eventually withdrawn in that case.
