We must battle for change as
if our kids’ lives depend on it

Re: ” ‘How dare you’: Plans, anger at climate talks” (Page A3, Sept. 24):

Greta Thunberg said, “How dare you.” She is right. How dare we look to children for hope?

We, the adults, owe it to our children to provide them with hope. Why aren’t we all battling against greed and complacency, and our own inertia against change, as if their lives depend on it?

Individual action is no longer enough. To be effective, take collective action. Join a group like 350BayArea.org or citizensclimate.org. Let’s dare ourselves to join in the epic struggle to create a livable future for our children, a future where they won’t have to hate us
