BRIDGEPORT – Two students and a bus driver escaped injury Monday morning after a vehicle struck a school bus.

Police spokesman Terron Jones said the accident happened at Barnum and Huntington Turnpike at 8:26 a.m.

Jones, who called the accident minor, said the driver of a car struck the school bus’s side “stop sign” according to 911 reports.

It’s unclear whether the car driver was arrested or given a ticket.
